Crystal Springs Resort:

 

Industry: Four-season resort hotel with world-class amenities including 6 championship golf courses, spectacular indoor and outdoor pools, award winning spas, varied restaurants, cafes & bistros, plus 8 indoor and outdoor catering facilities. The Grand Cascade Lodge has over 200 spacious guest rooms & suites with gourmet kitchens, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, large balconies and stunning views.

 

Project scope: Bluebird Technologies was engaged to provide network services for Crystal Springs Resort. The goal of this engagement was to give technical assistance and logistical support for the infrastructure deployment in buildings one, two and three of the Grand Cascades Lodge in Hardyston, NJ.

 

The Bluebird project team met with Crystal Springs' IT management to discuss the scope of the project for the new hotel. Crystal Springs provided the hardware for the project including servers, workstations, firewalls and routers. Bluebird formulated an implementation plan and presented it to management for approval.

 

Solution:

Assist with build out of the data center and network in three phases

Install of the core HP switch and 11 HP edge switches.

Configuration of 6 virtual LANs.

Mount 35 wireless access points and configuration of wireless network.

Physical testing of all network jacks and devices.

Physical testing of the wireless network throughout all suites and areas of the building.

 

Results: A completed project meeting or exceeding all project objectives in full, delivered on time and within set budgetary parameters.
